When using a Colon Cleansing Product:

I feel that these products should be used as they are; a supplement for your diet and an "extra hand" if you will, when detoxifying and cleansing your body. You should be exercising, drinking plenty of water, and eating healthy foods when doing a colon cleanse.

Note that while taking any colon cleansing product you should NOT be intoxicating yourself (i.e. drinking alcoholic beverages) while undergoing a colon cleanse - This will provide no results to better your health. You'd be surprised how many people slack off on their colon cleanse.

My Personal Colon Cleansing Journey & Experience: Interestingly enough, I did not know there was a market for colon cleansing products until nine years back. I suffered for nearly thirty years with constipation and nothing ever really helped to relieve it. I've read numerous reviews, an abundant amount of articles, and looked deeply into the ingredients that make up these colon cleansers - what I found is that you will not benefit from any other colon cleanser more than an effective natural oxygen colon cleanser such as Oxy-Powder (the reason it's number one on my list). Why an oxygen colon cleanser such as Oxy-Powder? An oxygen colon cleanser will "oxygenate" your inner linings, boost your immune system, and promote beneficial bacteria growth. OxyPowder can be used for prolonged use as opposed to other fiber based colon cleansers such as Colonix by. Dr. Natura, and the Colon Cleansing Kit by Blessed Herbs. I created this chart for myself to help me narrow down the best colon cleanser. Once I put the information side by side, it seemed extremely obvious to see why an oxygen based colon cleanser will give you better results. In my opinion, the benefits of an oxygen based colon cleanser such as Oxy-Powder greatly outweighs the benefits of a fiber based colon cleanser.

If you search around for herbal colon cleanser, you might find yourself reading the "Dangers of Herbal Colon Cleansing Products" by Dr. Edward F. Group. Although I do not completely agree with his article (there are some things he points out to be true, but some that I feel are overblown), the article is worth a read but should not be your number one source of information on herbal colon cleansers.

My Experience with Oxy-Powder: Oxy-Powder comes in capsule form and can be taken right before you go to bed. It works while you sleep so you don't have to make any shakes or any annoying teas before you sleep, and do not worry about taking a probiotic supplement since it doesn't eliminate beneficial bacteria from your colon. If you get lucky and find out that your dosage was the right amount the first night you take it (I took two), you actually feel a burst of energy the next morning. When I used the restroom, it felt like I flushed every single piece of crap lodged within my colon. It felt like diarrhea (although it wasn't) for the first couple of days and a few temporary cramps.

There are different ways of taking OxyPowder. You can do a quick cleanse by taking one overnight after having a heavy meal, or do the 7 day colon cleansing program which I found out to be the best if it is your first time. Since I was used to eating so horribly (McDonalds, Cici's pizza after my kid's soccer games, and unhealthy TV dinners - hence my constipation problems), I did the 7 day colon cleansing program Dr. Group offers. The benefits are endless - you will have to experience this on your own to see what I mean. I found it best when I started on a Friday and ended at the end of the week.

About the Company Global Healing Center

Is the company reputable, authentic, and playing it clean? Global Healing Center has been in business since 2004 according to the Better Business Bureau and has won 3 awards of excellence service from the BBB for 2007-2009. This is not expected from a colon cleansing company. They seem to be on top of their game. The company is run by Dr. Edward F. Group who founded the company in 1998. This man is a Naturopathic Physician, a Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Certified Clinical Herbalist and a Chiropractor (how this man achieved this at a young age, I really do not know, but my respects go out to Dr. Group for his dedication and determination). While I was looking at their main website, I found more health related supplements, organic living, and even some product called 02-Zap (I had read about this on NaturalNews.com a while back - works wonders for your skin).

What about their customer service? I spoke to their customer representatives and received nothing less than exceptional service. A guy by the name of Daniel was able to assist me in giving me all the information that I needed to know concerning the product's ingredients, and more information about detoxification. He also hinted towards a study they had recently done comparing their oxygen colon cleansing product to other oxygen colon cleansing products. This demonstrates the company's dedication to prove why their product is better than others. They don't just say it, they have the proof to back it up. Kudos GHCHealth!

More about the Company When I searched for "Global Healing Center", the company's location showed up on Google maps (authenticity), a natural health and organic living blog from GHC (a big plus - showed they take the time to inform their readers on how to better you health), and a bunch of coupon codes. Product & Pricing

Am I getting the best possible bargain? When I was looking for an alternative for OxyPowder (at the time, I felt OxyPowder was expensive), I started realizing that you get what you pay for and this is the going price for a truly great colon cleansing product, if not more. For a one month supply of colon cleansing with Oxy-Powder the price is $44.95. After doing my research, I found out that this really isn't a bad price when you consider the amount (90 caps) and quality of ingredients used. I actually still have some left over from the colon cleanse I did just last week. There are 90 vegetarian capsules inside each bottle. One bottle was a sufficient amount for me (but then again I weigh 130 lbs. and am 5 foot 4 inches). A good colon cleanser will range from about 40 to 80 bucks, anything over this and you're paying too much. They also offer quantity discounts and occasional promotional coupons. Be on the lookout!

Any dangerous or possible dangerous side effects? Oxy-Powder uses three main ingredients. Ozonated Magnesium Oxides (vectors to provide nascent oxygen to your body's various internal systems and organs.), Organic Germenium-32 (boosts the immune system) and Citric Acid (helps as one of the active ingredients in the production of anti-viral tissues). This product seems safe. There seems to be very little side effects to OxyPowder ingredients. If you are allergic to any of these ingredients, you should not take this product. This product is also available to vegetarians!

Another thing I will mention is that FDA compliance is indeed very necessary and required by every natural alternative medicine out there. As I checked every product I reviewed I assured to check for this. No problems here with the FDA compliance with Global Healing Center. They have their products and website watermarked with this stuff.

Customer Feedback

What people state about this product? Most people that I have talked to have had success with this product. I could not find any complaints on Complaints.com, ComplaintsBoard.com, or ConsumerReports.com. This is a major plus for Global Healing Center and their OxyPowder. I read some negative comments made about OxyPowder and dehydration and diarrhea (the website states you will feel watery stools because all the toxins are being eliminated - note the "healing process"). If you did not become educated about what you are digesting, you don't deserve to be shopping online. Plain and simple. I feel it is very important to learn about what we are digesting right down to the ingredient and plant.

Can I trust this product and if I don't like it can I return it? This product is safe when I tried it but I made sure before I bought it that it had some type of money back guarantee just in case I wanted to return it. Global Healing Center has a 75 day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with their products. As long as they gave me over a month to try the product out, I would've been happy.

BEWARE OF COLON CLEANSING SCAMS: I've also come across colon cleansing products that offer free trial offers. It's better to buy the product and try it out then to receive it free and later get the old switcha-roo pulled on you. I have even read some companies to go in to customer's bank accounts and take their hard earned money because they quote on quote say you didn't read the "fine print". Yeah, that very hard to find fine print that states you have to pay 80 dollars if not returned after 1 week, or we will auto bill your account without clearly letting you know.
