How to Fight Back Against a Colon Cleansing Scam
I have put up this page together for anyone that has been juked or scammed by a company. There are hundreds of people that need to know that a certain company is not keeping a certain level of ethics so please submit your complaints!.
Signs of a Possible Scam:
- Usually companies will offer a Risk "Free" trial or sample - with in your face advertising.
- AS ADVERTISED ON with unauthorized use of famous logos and or AS SEEN ON Oprah, Rachel Ray, Dr. Oz, and many more.
- There is no way to get in contact with the company from their home page.
- They usually have a fine print that is usually difficult to catch.
- A refund will be difficult to get.
Examples of a Scam:
- Auto-Shipment Scams - They keep sending you their product and charging you.
- There is no way to get a hold of the company to resolve the problem.
Here are some things I put together to make sure my visitors take the steps necessary against the colon cleansing scams.
- Attempt to resolve the issue with the company, the seller, the person who sold you the product first. If this doesn't work, then you can do some of the following things to warn consumers about a specific scam. Make sure you write down all specific details of everything that happened (i.e. called on July 6, 2009 - at 10:35 AM - spoke to Johnny Scamface requesting for a refund)
- Contact the Office of Attorney General of your State.
- Contact the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and file a complaint.
- File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau
- Complain online at - ComplaintsBoard.com, Complaints.com, PissedConsumer.com, IRipOff.com - just to name a few.
